Speaker: Tonya Ngotel, NEMA & Mark Lohnes, NDEQ
  Tonya has worked in the fields of Emergency Management for over 10 years starting out as a volunteer with the Red Cross. She currently holds the position of State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) Coordinator with the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). She works directly with the state supported hazardous materials teams and develops emergency plans for local planning committes.
 

 Mark has been with the NDEQ for almost 23 years. He spent 15 years in the Petroleum Remediation section, working with underground storage tank projects. The past 7 years have been in the Environmental Assistance Division working with the Emergency Planning Community, Right to Know program. Mark has been a member of the Nebraska Hazardous Incident team for over 20 years.

   
Topic: Incorporating local resources into your Emergency Response Plan
  Tonya & Mark will provide valuable information on how to use your local resources in the event of an evnironmental hazard in your community. They will also be giving tips on how to reach out to those local planners and how to work with the local fire department in the event of an incident.
