Supervisors have the unique responsibility of ensuring that the welfare of their employees has been adequately considered prior to assigning them work. Training supervisors in safety & health practices is a necessary aspect of a comprehensive safety & health program. Many line supervisors and managers are responsible for assisting in safety & health training and certification of personnel within their organizations.
