As drivers differ greatly in experience, attitudes and daily driving routines, it is nearly impossible for one training class to address all strategies for improvement. Recognizing this, the Nebraska Safety Council offers several Defensive Driving Courses to meet the needs of virtually any driver.

Adult Driver Education

We offer Adult Driver Education to help drivers improve skills behind the wheel and to prepare for the Driver's License exam.

Alcohol & Drug Offender Course

Meet court requirements of numerous judicial entities with the 8, 12, or 15-hour ADSC courses. All classes are held in Lincoln.

Alive at 25

Young drivers incurring traffic violations will benefit from this half-day class. A great supplement to standard driver training programs, this course if offered in several locations.

ADD – Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving

This 8-hour course is designed for repeat traffic offenders, often those who have reinstatement of license, work permit, under 21-point accumulation, court referral, or 2-point credit.

Defensive Driving

Crashes are the #1 cause of death for workers in the U.S. DDC4 provides strategies to drivers of all ages on how to remain safe behind the wheel. Public and onsite training options are available.

Motorcycle Training

Designed for beginner riders with no experience, earn your “M” on your license after completing this weekend-long class. We even provide the motorcycles.

Road Safety Project

The Nebraska Safety Council (NESC) received a Road Safety Grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office to work with employers across select counties to provide educational presentations on seat belt safety, distracted driving, and cell phone usage.

Teen Driver Education

We offer Teen Driver Education online, and in locations across the state; Arlington, Beatrice, Fairbury, and Lincoln. Multiple sessions are available throughout the year.

Ticket Dismissal - STOP Program
