Conflict Resolution (De-escalation & Workplace Violence Solutions) is available for people and organizations to learn life-changing skills to prevent potential conflicts from accelerating out of control. Communication break downs cause stress and conflict not only in your work life but also your personal life. Conflict Resolution is used to redirect conversation to prevent workplace violence. You will learn the following skills during this training:
- How to use paraphrasing
- How and why conflict arises
- Verbal tone and how it is received
- Body language, nonverbal communication and posturing
- How to properly redirect communication
- Active listening techniques
- Creating compliance with policies, rules, and procedures through communication and persuasion
When staff is properly trained, the environment in which they work improves and the threat of conflict, violence, and litigation is greatly reduced.
