Shipping Dangerous Goods and HazMat by Air can not only be confusing, but it can lead to seizure and impoundments of shipments to fines and citations if not done correctly. With the correct training you can easily navigate your way to compliance to not only the DOT 49 CFR, but also be in compliance with IATA/ICAO.

Do you have a job that puts you in contact with dangerous goods or hazardous materials that are transported by air? A "HazMat Employee" could be anyone who meets any of the following criteria:

  1. A person who offers a hazardous material for air transportation.
  2. A person involved in the transportation of hazardous materials.

If this describes you, then you need IATA/ICAO Dangerous Goods Training and you need to know how Federal and International regulations apply to you and your business. You will be taught by a certified IATA instructor and will learn the regulation & how to comply with the guidelines.
