Julie Yuhas, MA, Occupational Health & Wellness, LES, joined LES in 2016 after holding the position as the onsite Wellness Specialist for the State of Nebraska employee wellness program for 3 years. Prior to that, I worked for the Oklahoma State Department of Health in Norman, Oklahoma as a Health Educator and at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey as a Fitness & Sports Specialist/Assistant Facility Director. A native of Wausa, Nebraska, I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and athletic training from Wayne State College and a master’s degree in kinesiology and athletic training from San Jose State University. I was board certified as an athletic trainer for 12 years.
